All mirrors installed; Numerous deck rail sections assembled (in the
garage, as it was 10 degress outside this week);

Carpet installed (122 sq yards) on December 3; All faucets installed; Many cabinet knobs installed;
Some interior trim remains, mirrors, as well as the front of the deck.

Moved in. DISH TV service installed.

Final coat of polyurethane applied to hardwood floors; Tomorrow (Wed) all final
plumbing fixtures should be set, telephone connected, and satellite TV dish installed. (no pictures)


Day 231 Monday, November 21, 2005

Utility room sink hole cut out (plumber will install on Wednesday); Loft vanity tops set;
Tomorrow (Tuesday) will be the final coating on the oak floors;
This past weekend, several trim pieces were installed and coating put on several areas of T&G paneling.





Day 228 Friday, November 18, 2005

Received (Temporary) Certificate of Occupancy (TCO), which means I can live there now.
When the deck is fully completed, I'll get a permanent CO.
Deck railing/stairs completed on east side of house. I'll finish the front (south) side of the deck
during the next 2 months.







Day 227, Thursday, November 17, 2005

Appliances installed; Additional deck handrails; Ceramic tile grout sealed;
Pine siding installed on kitchen cabinet side; Pella installed all window screens and handles;
HVAC crew hooked up water heater and installed vents.

Interior handrails installation completed; additional deck handrails;
appliances delivered; all toilets installed.

Tomorrow the appliances should be installed.

Plumber continued to connect things, all toilets should be installed Wednesday,
a few fixtures won't arrive until 11/23; Passed state electrical inspection, 99% of all electrical work completed;
All wall and ceiling painting completed this past weekend (a little cut-in work left). (no pictures)

Asphalt driveway poured; Plumber continued to connect things - Kitchen sink operational;
Electrical work completed on 110v/220v wiring - state inspection Monday.

Oak floors - 2nd coat of clear polyurethane applied; Continued outside decking, 99% complete; Plumber began making connections;
Driveway prepped for asphalt (to be poured tomorrow).

Oak floors - All stairs completed, final sanding of everything, and the first
coat of clear polyurethane; Loft balcony rail completed; Outside decking on
east side of house completed; Tomorrow the plumber arrives and the second
coat of floor polyurethane will be applied.

Day 218, Tuesday, November 8, 2005

Stairs to basement completed, about half of stairs to loft complete, tomorrow should be final sanding
and the 1st coat of clear polyurethane coating;
Outside deck stair treads complete, partial decking near front door;
Loft balcony rail installation continued - almost complete;
Kitchen backsplash grouted (all ceramic tile work complete, except for sealing grout);
Additional electrical fixtures installed - 99% complete;
